Bushnell continue as official rangefinder of PGA EuroPro Tour

The PGA EuroPro Tour is delighted to announce that Bushnell Golf will continue to support the Tour as the official rangefinder for the 2019 season.

As the first professional tour to allow the use of Distance Measuring Devices (DMD) during competition play, the partnership highlights the continued importance of Bushnell products for the game’s elite players. Bushnell is The Undisputed #1 Rangefinder in Golf with the new Pro XE, using ‘groundbreaking technology’ to move a golfer’s play into new levels.

Bushnell Golf has more than a decade of being the most trusted rangefinder used by PGA Pro’s on any Tour, with over 96% of PGA* tour pros using Bushnell rangefinders. The winners from every event of the regular PGA EuroPro Tour season will receive the Bushnell Pro XE.

Andrew Grose, Managing Director of Yumax said: “We’re excited about working with the EuroPro Tour because we know that elite players appreciate the benefits and advantages that the Bushnell Golf range offers and as the first step to getting out on to the full Tour it’s a logical place to cement our relationship with this level of golfer. History shows that some top-flight players have their roots here so to be at the beginning, building relationships is a where we want to be.”

The new Pro XE introduces Slope with Elements – a technology that takes Bushnell’s Tour-trusted compensated distances to a whole new level. There’s also the addition of added temperature and barometric pressure to Bushnell’s patented Slope technology to give golfers the most precise compensated distances ever.

Grose explained more about the Pro XE, “The Pro XE also sets the gold standard in ranging performance with the ability to range flags at 500+ yards.  7X magnification enables the golfer to have a better view of what they are ranging, and the newly enhanced ultra-bright backlight display provides crisp, clear information in the LCD.”

Daniel Godding, PGA EuroPro Tour CEO said: “This is a valuable partnership to the tour and we cannot wait to see it go from strength to strength much like Bushnell’s new Pro XE. As the first tour to allow the usage of rangefinders, we can’t wait to see the pros using the new products.”

The PGA EuroPro Tour will also be showing off the Bushnell app across social media during the season. It has over 36,000 courses worldwide, full hole flyovers, score tracking, and seamless Bluetooth update.

To coincide with the extended partnership the PGA EuroPro Tour will be giving away a new Bushnell Pro XE on social media in the coming days.
