Peacock Struts His Stuff In Pro-Am

THOMAS PEACOCK warmed up for the forthcoming PGA EuroPro Tour event at Marriott Sprowston Manor with a four-under-par 67 in Sunday’s Pro-Am.

Peacock, who represents Aylesworth Fleming, was the leading professional in the Pro-Am to give himself a confidence boost ahead of Tuesday’s first round in the main event.

Jason Kelly shot 68, with Keiran Staunton ending on -2 and four other players also breaking par.

Braintree’s Paul Curry will look to win his second successive PGA EuroPro Tour event when play gets underway in Norfolk on Tuesday.

Curry prevailed in a play-off at last week’s Stoke by Nayland International Open to claim his first title of the year.

The winner of this event, plus the leading four players in the PGA EuroPro Tour Order of Merit after the tournament will earn a place in the Challenge Tour event in Killarney at the end of July.
