2005 Oceanico Tour Championship - 08/11/2007

The 2005 PGA EuroPro Tour will come to a conclusion with The Oceanico Tour Championship at Palmares Golf Club on the Algarve from 24-26 November.

The Tour Championship will boast a £75,000 prize fund, with £20,000 going to the winner of the tournament, which is staged near Lagos in the Western Algarve.

The PGA EuroPro Tour hosted two events at Palmares in 2003, with the Algarve Swing tournament being followed by the Tour Championship.

A two-day Pro-Am will take place on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 November, with the main tournament starting on Thursday.

Joining the top 50 from the PGA EuroPro Tour Order of Merit will be those players who have hit a hole in one during the 2005 season.

They will compete in the Peugeot Hole In One Challenge on the Wednesday, with the winner taking home a brand new car.

"We are delighted to be returning to Palmares for the 2005 Oceanico Tour Championship," said PGA EuroPro Tour Managing Director Eddie Hearn.

"It has been a very exciting season and there is still all to play for in the Order of Merit.

"The £20,000 first prize gives almost every player the chance to lift themselves to the top of the Order of Merit - a great incentive with five Challenge Tour Cards still up for grabs ."

In addition, all players will receive a complimentary Skycaddie, the new Official Range Finder Of The PGA Europro Tour - click here for full details ." target="_blank" www.europrotour.com/article_detail.asp?article_id=616]click here for full details[/url] .
