2006 PGA EuroPro Tour Qualifying School - 06/11/2007
THE 2006 PGA EuroPro Tour Qualifying School will take place in March and April and feature more courses than ever before.
Following the record number of entries for the 2005 Qualifying School, it has been decided that four courses will host the First Stage of next year's event.
Stage One returns to the Wynyard GC on Teesside, which was superbly presented for September's Seve Trophy, as well as Essex course Stoke-by-Nayland.
The other two events will be played at Bedford GC and Kendleshire GC in Bristol.
Stage One will be held on 29 and 30 March, with Final Stage taking place from 4-6 April on the Red and Blue Courses at Frilford Heath.
A total of 240 players will take part at Final Stage, with players ranked 51-130 in the 2005 PGA EuroPro Tour Order of Merit exempt from Stage One.
Other exemptions from Stage One are: players 2-5 from the seven 2005 PGA Final Regional Order of Merits; Players holding Categories 8-11 on the 2005 & 2006 European Challenge Tour; PGA EuroPro Tour tournament winners from 2003 and 2004.
The Final Stage will be played over 54 holes, with the field being cut to the leading 120 players plus ties after 36 holes.

"As we did in 2005, we will be allowing Amateurs with a handicap of two or better to join Professionals at Qualifying School to give them a chance to see if they can make the grade.
"2006 will see an even greater commitment to providing greater prize money by the PGA EuroPro Tour as we strive to give the future stars of golf the best opportunity to becoming professionals.
"A number of the top players gained their card at this year's Qualifying School, including Simon Robinson who became the first player in history to win three times on the PGA EuroPro Tour.
"We're hoping that the 2006 Qualifying School will unearth many more stars of the future."
The 2006 PGA EuroPro Tour will begin on 26 April at Wensum Valley and also include return visits to Heydon Grange, Whitekirk and Stoke-by-Nayland.
Dale Hill will return to the schedule following a two-year absence, with a full announcement of dates and venues to be made in the coming weeks.
