Stage one of the 2007 season will be held at Wensum Valley, Norfolk, where the 2006 tour also started.

Among the competitors are a number of players who performed well last year, including Kevin Harper (pictured right) who collected more than €43,000 in prize money to top the 2006 order of merit.

Danny Nickless, operations manager of the PGA EuroPro Tour, said: "We're delighted to come back to Wensum Valley and they're great supporters of the tour.

"This is a great way to start the 2007 season and I'm sure all the players are looking forward to their opening rounds on Tuesday."

After Wensum Valley, the tour will be holding its first ever events in the Republic of Ireland.

Roganstown Golf Club in Dublin will host the tour from May 9 to May 11 before Faithlegg GC is the venue for round three, from May 16 to May 18. Stage four of the 2007 season comes from the Macdonald Cardrona Hotel Golf and Country Club, Scotland and starts on May 23 and ends on May 25.
