Barclays Back Vila Sol Event - 20/12/2007

THE PGA EuroPro Tour is preparing for its first visit to the Vila Sol complex on the Algarve, which will host September's Vila Sol Barclays European Masters.

The tournament takes place from 7-9 September and boasts a prize fund of €100,000, with leading bank Barclays showing their support for the world's leading developmental golf tour.

Vila Sol has previously hosted the Portugal Open and the superb golf complex will now host the 16th event of the 2005 PGA EuroPro Tour.

"We are delighted that Barclays will be supporting our event at Vila Sol," said PGA EuroPro Tour Managing Director Eddie Hearn.

"I recently had the privilege of visiting the hotel and golf course and it is simply first class.

"You will find it hard to find a golf course in better condition anywhere in the World and we are delighted to confirm a €100,000 prize fund for the presitigous event."
