GRAEME Clark will be playing on the Challenge Tour in 2008 after winning his third tournament of the PGA EuroPro Tour season.

Doncaster-based Clark, who also won at Faithlegg, Waterford and The Players Club, Bristol, ended on ten-under to secure another £10,000 first prize.

This takes his 2007 winnings to more than £35,000 and guarantees him a place inside the top five on the end of season Order of Merit rankings.

As a result he will secure automatic qualification for the Challenge Tour and be only one step away from playing on the main European Tour.

The PartyPoker.net English Masters was the 11th event of the PGA EuroPro Tour campaign and was held at the Whittlebury Park Golf and Country Club, near Towcester, Northamptonshire.

Clark (pictured above) did not make the best of starts as a level-par 71 on Wednesday left him in equal 21st and four shots behind the lead.

But a four-under 67 on Thursday brought him back in contention before he ended his week in style with a six-under 65 to win by one shot.

A PGA EuroPro Tour record round of 60 from Sandeep Grewal (Heswall, Merseyside) was not enough to win as he finished in tied second on nine-under alongside Ian Keenan (Royal Liverpool) and Martin Le Mesurier (Vear Group).

Day one leader Russell Claydon (Gog Magog, Cambridgeshire) came level fifth on eight-under with David Callaway (Milford Golf Club, Surrey)

Northern Ireland's Damian Mooney had started the competition with a nine-over 80 but rounds of 65 and 66 left him at tied 24th.
