Coetzee Leads After Round One - 27/07/2008
The Peugeot International got underway today at the beautiful Marriott Hollins Hall near Bradford. Despite the recent rain, the course was in immaculate condition and the greens slick.
South African Jerry Coetzee got off to a flying start, recording an incredible five under par score of 66 in the first round to take the early lead. This left him two shots clear of the rest of the field, but Jerry faces tough competition from the likes of former European Tour players Graham Rankin and Paddy Gribben amongst those in second place.
All players will play one more round before the cut is made to the top fifty players and ties.
