Dawson Backs Young Stars - 15/05/2007

MATT DAWSON has given his backing to the young professionals looking to break into the big-time on the 2007 PGA EuroPro Tour.

The England World Cup-winning rugby player presented coverage of the PGA EuroPro Tour to see the world's top young stars in action first-hand.

A keen golfer himself, Dawson has also played a number of times in Pro-Ams alongside PGA EuroPro Tour events, and has supported the new wave of professionals who will try their hand at the PartyPoker.com Qualifying School in April.

"I thoroughly enjoyed working on the PGA EuroPro Tour last season," said Dawson.

"I am a mad golf fan and was really impressed by the standard of play on the Tour.

"The atmosphere amongst the players was fantastic and it was really pleasing to see so many players progress to the next level.

"It's never easy to make your mark in any sport but cetianly within golf there is no bigger opportunity than the PGA EuroPro Tour."
