Dramatic Finish In Store - 18/01/2008

THE Marriott Sprowston Manor Open is set for a dramatic finish, with a 66 from Mark Smith on the final day seeing him join David Fisher at -8.

Smith's superb round puts him in contention for a first win of the season, after a number of highly-placed finishes.

Fisher remains at -8 going onto the final tee, although joint overnight leader Michael Welch has slipped to -8.

Welch needs an eagle at the par five 18th to force a play-off - while a birdie for Fisher would see him take the title.
