Duo Share Early Heydon Lead - 28/08/2007

GARY OLIVER and Alan Murray share a one-shot clubhouse lead during the first round of The Heydon Grange International Open.

The pair shot opening rounds of 67 on Thursday to edge clear of the field in Hertfordshire.

The duo each dropped just one shot and produced six birdies to finish their opening round at -5.

Adam Frayne, who won the last PGA EuroPro Tour event on the Algarve last month, is among six early players to be sat at -4 following a 68.

He is joined by Stuart Cage, Euan Little, David Clark, Paul Henriksen and Philip Beever.

Four players are sat on -3, with a further eight opening with a 70 on Thursday, including Daniel Gaunt, Joe Templer and Ben St John.
