Duo Smash Stonebridge Course Record - 04/07/2007

COURSE RECORD rounds of 61 from Nathan Treacher and Mark Smith have put them into the clubhouse lead on the final day of The Sweeney's Environmental Classic at Stonebridge.

The duo both began the final round at one-over-par, but moved to within a shot of overnight leader Sandeep Grewal with their rounds.

Treacher hit six birdies and an eagle on his way out to -7, while only a bogey at the 15th blotted Smith's card alongside nine birdies.

Lee Gauthier put himself out to -5 with a 64 that included three birdies in the final five holes, and a 65 from David Fisher saw him finish at the same total.

Zane Scotland dropped just one shot in his own round of 64 to move to -4, and a 65 from Mark O'Sullivan sees him end on -3.

Damian Mooney, Gary Oliver, Alan Murray, Chris Evans and Jason Levermore have finished five shots behind the clubhouse leaders.
