FINAL ROUND LATEST FROM THE SHIRE - 09/05/2002

Sean Doherty was one of the early movers on the final day of the PGA EuroPro Tour event at The Shire.

The Bury man birdied the first, fourth and fifth to move out on his own in the lead at six under after seven holes of his final round.

Right on his heels is Alan Murray (Greystones GC) who is seven under for his second round through 15. The Irishman dropped a shot on the third but has since picked up eight birdies - with five in a row from the seventh - and is a stroke behind Doherty.

Scotland's Graeme Brown is right in the mix after 15 holes - six under for today, five under for the tournament. 

Ben Jones is the leader in the clubhouse at the moment after a terrific six under final round shot him up to three under for the tournament.
