Fisher Slides Into Second - 23/09/2007
A SUPERB 67 from David Fisher has put him into second place at the Wensum Valley International Open, although Matthew Woods has maintained his lead on Thursday.
The pair were among the earlier starters in Norfolk, with Fisher jumping from one-under-par overnight to -6 with his round.
He included five birdies and an eagle at the 16th to move to within two shots of Woods, the overnight leader.
Woods followed up his opening round 65 with a 71 to edge out to -8.
Chris Evans' 69 saw him move to -5, with a level par 72 from Damian Mooney keeping him a shot further back.
Sandeep Grewal put himself in contention with a brilliant 66, finishing his round with an eagle three at the 18th.
A full update will be issued at the close of play.
