Four Share Lead In Oceanico Tour Championship - 29/10/2007

FOUR players share the lead at -5 following the first round of the PGA EuroPro Tour's 2005 Oceanico Tour Championship in Palmares.

Scotsman Graham Rankin was the early leader after setting the pace with a 66 for his first round.

He was later joined on that score by fellow countryman Graham Fox, Michael Searle and Zane Scotland (pictured, right) - who threatened to go even better throughout the day after shooting -4 for his opening nine holes.

They sit a shot clear of Mark Fairhall and Mark Smith, who began their challenge with a four-under-par 67.

Mark Ramsdale, Stephen Pullan and Dean Barnes all opened with a 68, while Order of Merit leader Simon Robinson was one of seven players a further shot back.

They also included Australian John Wade, a double-winner on the 2005 PGA EuroPro Tour, Graeme Clark, Lee Rhind and Daniel Wardrop.

A total of 12 players sit one-under-par at 70, including tournament winners Daniel Gaunt, Andrew Willey and Richard Johnson.
