Friday Finish For Second Round - 30/12/2007
TORRENTIAL rain seriously disrupted the second round of The Oakley International Open at Morley Hayes GC, with Simon Robinson and Yasin Ali holding onto their lead in Derbyshire. 
The start of the second day at Morley Hayes was delayed by an two hours due to the heavy overnight rain which flooded the course, and a further hour was lost in the afternoon due to fog.
A total of three inches rainfall made conditions testing for all players, with overnight leaders Ali and Robinson slipping from -8 to seven under par with rounds of 73.
Michael Searle is a shot behind them at -6 following a level par 72, with Stephen Pullan and Michael Welch a further stroke behind.
Welch shot an outstanding 68, while Pullan braved the morning's wind and rain to score 69.
Grant Hamerton slipped back to -4 with a 75 on Thursday, while local player Ian Walley also dropped from -7, with a 76 putting him at -3.
A total of 33 players will finish their second round from 8am on Friday, with the final round expected to start at 10.30am from a projected cut of +2.
