Gaunt Starts With A Bang In Wales - 29/07/2007
DANIEL GAUNT and John Wells have set the early pace in the Ryder Cup Wales Challenge at Nefyn GC. 
Gaunt opened the Challenge Tour event with a super seven-under-par 64 on Thursday, while Wells is a shot back after his 65.
Zane Scotland is well placed at -4, with Simon Robinson - a three-time winner on the 2005 PGA EuroPro Tour - one shot behind.
Former PGA EuroPro Tour members Inder van Weerelt and Stuart Manley opened with two-under-par rounds of 69.
Adam Frayne, who played in The Open last week, shot 70 and sits alongside John Wade, Shaun Webster, Eric Ramsay and Simon Hurd at -1.
John E Morgan, who won The Squibb & Davies Demolition Classic at Players Club last week, is joined by Jack Doherty and Peter Whiteford at level par.
