Good Start To Peugeot International Open - 24/06/2007

DAVID ADDISON and Hamish Robertson share a one-shot clubhouse lead during day one of The Peugeot International Open at Whittlebury Park.

The duo both opened the PGA EuroPro Tour tournament with six-under-par rounds of 65 at the Northamptonshire course.

Addison, from Donnington Grove, shot four birdies and an eagle in a faultless opening round, while Robertson only dropped one shot and landed seven birdies in his effort.

They sit a shot clear of three players, with dropped shots for David James at the 17th and 18th holes seeing him slip back from -7 after a superb run of five birdies and an eagle in seven holes.

Kevin Harper, Daniel Gaunt and Phil Rowe - all winners on the 2006 PGA EuroPro Tour - began with rounds of 67.
