STEPHEN GRAY holds a one-shot lead going into the final round of The Kronenboug Classic at Whitekirk, following a second round 66 at the East Lothian course.

Graeme Clark produced the best effort in the second round, with a flawless 65 - including five birdies and an eagle - putting him alongside Carnoustie's Eric Ramsay (70,70) on -4.

They were joined by Scott Jackson two strokes behind the leaders, with the High Legh Park golfer following up a 71 with a 69 on Friday morning.

First round leader Phil Rowe slipped back to -2 with a 73 for his second round, and he is alongside Graham Rankin, Alan Murray and Lee Clarke - who also produced a second round 66 - four shots behind the leader.

Following the wind which disrupted round one, the second round was completed on Friday morning, with the third and final round following this afternoon.

Play is expected to finish around 7pm on Friday.
