June Date For Whitekirk Return - 16/10/2007

THE PGA EuroPro Tour will return to Whitekirk GC in North Berwick from 21-23 June 2006 for The Kronenbourg Classic.

The picturesque Scottish course will again stage a PGA EuroPro Tour event when the world's top young players cross the border in June.

Whitekirk has emerged as one of the leading courses on the PGA EuroPro Tour over the past two years, with David Close and John Wade taking the spoils.

"We are delighted to confirm that the PGA EuroPro Tour will be returning to Whitekirk," said Managing Director Eddie Hearn.

"Whitekirk is a stunning golf course and is in better condition than ever before. I'm sure all the players can't wait to head to Scotland in June.

"This is one of the best Links courses in Scotland and I'm sure it will once again challenge the ability of players on the PGA EuroPro Tour.

"We would also like to thank Kronenbourg for their continued support of this prestigious event and backing of the world's number one developmental tour."

A superb final round 68 from John Wade saw the Australian take victory last year, overhauling Daniel Gaunt to win The 2005 Kronenbourg Classic.
