Kennedy hunts victory in Croydon - 08/08/2008

Lloyd Kennedy began his final round at the Selsdon Park Masters in Croydon at 12.03pm, hoping to drive home his four stroke lead in the Ivobank PGA EuroPro Tour event.

Kennedy (Chelmsford GC) has mastered the course so far, recording rounds of 63 and 63 on Wednesday and Thursday to go into today's finale in a commanding position at 13 under. Dale Marmion (Eaton) is his playing partner today and is nine under for the tournament, looking to add to his recent win at The Players Club in Bristol.

Colin Roope (wstore.co.uk) is eight under par in third spot, while his playing partner Martin Le Mesurier (Vear Group) has dropped a shot at the firt to move back to five under alongside Jamie Moul (Stoke by Nayland) who has picked up two birdies in his first three holes. Steven Capper (Caldy GC) is alone in fourth place at six under for the tournament, level for today after two holes.
