Ladbrokes Casino extend EuroPro Tour sponsorship - 10/02/2007

The PGA EuroPro Tour and Ladbrokes Casino have agreed a sponsorship deal for 2008.

Ladbrokes Casino had their first involvement with the Tour last year, with Selsdon Park golf course in Surrey hosting the Ladbrokescasino.com Masters in September, which was won by Lee Harper.

Taking place in September, the Ladbrokes Casino event moves overseas with a course in Spain or Portugal to be named as the venue for the event soon.

"I am delighted to announce that Ladbrokes Casino will be sponsoring one of our events again this year," said Danny Nickless, operations manager for the Tour. "We are taking the event abroad and it will very likely take place at a top venue in Spain or Portugal, which is a real testament to the quality of the Tour. Last year's event was a huge success and I'm sure that September's event will be even better."

The PGA EuroPro Tour begins on April 30 at Wensum Valley Golf and Country Club. The Qualifying School for the tour takes place at the end of April at Frilford Heath, Oxfordshire.
