Leaders start final round in Spain - 25/09/2001

The leading groups have teed-off at La Cala Resort in Malaga for the final round of the Ladbrokescasino.com Masters.

Jason Kelly (Wentworth), Daniel Brooks (Mill Hill) and Adam Frayne (St Mellion) share the lead at seven under, with Kelly and Brooks the last pairing to go out at 12.33. Andrew Pestell (Chelmsford GC) is one of a couple of players a stroke behind at six under and he plays with Frayne, the other man at six under is Tim Rice (Limerick) who plays with Paul Doherty (Vale Hotel), one of a clutch of players at five under.

It's an overcast and quite blustery day here in Spain and Chris Hanson (Crosland Heath/GO2SPORT.com) has set the marker with a fantastic late burst of five birdies on the last seix holes to shoot a final round of 66 to lead in the clubhouse at seven under (137) and put real pressure on the overnight leaders.
