Marmion peaks in Bristol play-off - 16/10/2002

Dale Marmion leads the way in the Peak Performance Player of the Month play-off at The Players Club, Bristol - sitting one shot clear at two under after ten holes.

Marmion (Eaton) won the award in August and is just ahead of May's winner Alan Murray, who missed a three foot putt on the par three tenth to move to two under. Noel Fox (MMI) is two over after ten but fellow Irishman Simon Thornton (Royal County Down) sunk a 20-footer from off the back of the tenth green to move level. Matthew Ford (Marriott Tudor Park) was the last to go through the tenth and moved onto the 11th tee one over par after being two under through the fifth.

It looks like the race for the £10,000 and title of Peak Performance Player of the Year will go to the wire in a bitterly cold Bristol - we will bring you the result as soon as play finishes.
