Morgan Returns On PGA EuroPro Tour - 19/09/2007
FORMER PGA Tour star John E Morgan will make his comeback in the PGA EuroPro Tour's Verde Golf Azores Championship this week.
Morgan, a former runner-up in the John Deere Classic who progressed through the PGA EuroPro Tour to the top of the game, has been hampered by injury and epilepsy problems for the past two years.
He will make his long-awaited return to action when the PGA EuroPro Tour visits Batalha GC in the Azores this week.
"I'm really excited about playing again," said Morgan.
"I'm looking to regain my PGA European Tour card and this is a good opportunity for me to get warmed up for events on the Challenge Tour, European Tour and PGA Tour later in the year."
Morgan will be among a 168-man field for the tournament, which begins on Thursday and is the second of the 2006 PGA EuroPro Tour season.
