Moul finishes in top ten in Russia - 28/07/2008

Ivobank PGA EuroPro Tour regular Jamie Moul put in a fine performance at the Inteco Russian Open Championship in Moscow at the weekend, finishing tied in sixth after entering the final round in second spot.

The Stoke by Nayland pro was 16 under par ahead of Sunday's final round after shooting 64 in the third round, one shot behind final round playing partner and eventual winner Mikael Lundgren. Moul moved to 17 under at the turn but dropped shots down the back to fall away and finish six shots behind the Swede at 15 under.

Moul pocketed €37,843 for his effort for the three-way tie, one of the players with the same cheque being Lloyd Saltman - older brother of Elliot who is also a EuroPro regular. Moul will be back in action on the Ivobank PGA EuroPro Tour at Selsdon Park on August 6.
