Peugeot Delight For Ali - 30/10/2007

YASIN ALI won a brand new Peugeot 206 GTi by taking victory in the Peugeot Hole In One Challenge staged at Palmares on Wednesday.

Ali joined eight other players who had hit a hole in one during the 2005 PGA EuroPro Tour season in the event.

They each had three shots to get as close to the pin as possible on the par three tenth at Palmares, which is 173 yards long.

Ali saw his first shot land just three feet, four-and-a-half inches from the pin - and that eight iron was enough to see him scoop the Peugeot car.

However, the player, who represents the Nal Al Sheba Club in Dubai, will be unable to take immediate control of his new car - as he has yet to pass a driving test!

That will have to wait, though, for Ali with the more immediate task of playing in the Oceanico Tour Championship, which begins on Thursday morning at Palmares.
