Play-off at the Faithlegg Irish Championship - 23/05/2008

Some sparkling golf on the final day of the Faithlegg Irish Championship has left us with a nail-biting play-off between Noel Fox (pictured) and Elliot Saltman.

Saltman (Aegon) had a putt to win on 18 but left it agonisingly close and has to play the final hole with Fox (Team Ireland - MMI) to decide the winner of a fantastic event at Faithlegg in Waterford.

Damien Mooney (Nevada Bobs Belfast) set the ball rolling by recording a new course record 63 to move to eight under for the tournament, but that fell just short thanks to some fine play from Fox and Saltman.
