Record Qualifying School Entries - 09/10/2007
WITH just two days to go before the closing date for entries to the PGA EuroPro Tour Qualifying School, officials have confirmed record entries for this year's event.
Over 400 ambitious players have already secured their place in the Qualifying School, which will be played over two stages.
Stage One takes place at four courses on 29 and 30 March, with Stage Two being staged at Frilford Heath from 4-6 April.
"We had unprecedented demand for last year's Qualifying School, and it is a huge boost that numbers are already up for 2006," said PGA EuroPro Tour Managing Director Eddie Hearn.
"Entries close on Thursday so there is still time for players to secure a place, but this shows that players realise they can achieve their dreams on the PGA EuroPro Tour.
"The success of players such as Mark Smith and Simon Robinson last year has made young professionals around the country - and across the world - stand up and back their talent.
"Of course, not all of them will succeed on the 2006 PGA EuroPro Tour but they are determined to take this chance."
Entries close at 5pm on Thursday 16 March - click the link to the right for an entry form.
