Scotland Well Placed In Manchester - 04/09/2007

ZANE SCOTLAND sits two shots behind leader mark Pilkington after the first round of the Morson International Pro-Am Challenge.

Scotland produced a superb 64 on Wednesday to take an early clubhouse lead in the Challenge Tour event at Marriott Worsley Park.

However, a brilliant 62 from Pilkington saw him jump into the lead on the first day.

Former PGA EuroPro Tour Champion Simon Lilly is one of three players sat a shot behind Scotland at -5 following a 65 for his first round.

Phil Worthington is one of eight players on -4, while two fellow winners from the 2005 PGA EuroPro Tour, Mark Smith and Rob McGuirk, join current star John Wells on three under par.
