Stars Step Onto World Stage - 21/10/2007

ANDREW WILLEY and Graeme Clark finished joint tenth at the Mauritius Open, which was staged at the Belle Mare Plage Resort.

The pair finished with three-round totals of 215, which saw them end on -1 for the tournament.

Miles Tunnicliffe took overall victory, while two other PGA EuroPro Tour stars also competed.

Michael Welch finished 24th, while Order of Merit winner Mark Smith ended the event in 37th place.

At the dunhill championship in South Africa, Michiel Bothma paid for a third round 78 which cost him the lead at Leopard Creek.

Bothma finished in 27th place, while former PGA EuroPro Tour player Richard Finch was tied for 15th on -5.

Simon Robinson and Kieran Staunton failed to make the cut on their European Tour debuts, but Phil Worthington ended the event in 76th place with scores of 73, 71, 77 and 81.
