The second event of the PGA EuroPro Tour season begins on Wednesday as the Tour heads to the prestigious Burhill Golf Club in Surrey.
Competition is set to be fierce as 12 of the top 13 finishers from the opening event at Wensum Valley will be taking part, including the top seven from Norfolk. The tournament is called The Kerry London PGA EuroPro Tour 2011 and more than 150 players will be bidding for the £10,000 top prize.
A host of players have already expressed their delight at the course conditions.  Burhill Golf Club
Sandeep Grewal described Burhill as ‘a great course’, Steve Uzzell said ‘the greens are awesome’ and Duncan McCarthy hailed it ‘as an unreal set up’.
Jack Winer was confident of a good performance and said: “It’s nice to be playing half decent into the event. It starts on Wednesday and Burhill GC is always a pleasure to play.”
Robert Steele won the 2010 event when he edged out Sean Doherty in a play-off and Steele is also among the line-up in 2011.
Danny Nickless, Operations Manager for the PGA EuroPro Tour, said: “We are extremely proud to be staging another event at Burhill Golf Club.
“Burhill is one of the finest golf clubs not just in England but Europe too, with two fantastic courses and a magnificent clubhouse. It gives our players a great test and I know is certainly a favourite with them all.”

The first round takes place on Wednesday with the second round on Thursday before the top 50 plus ties advancing to the final round on Friday.
