Towergate Insurance To Sponsor Maylands Event - 31/07/2007

THE Towergate Insurance Championship at Maylands will take place from 16-18 August 2006 at the Essex course.

Maylands has been a loyal host to the PGA EuroPro Tour in recent years, with Richard Johnson taking victory in last year's tournament.

The 2006 event will be sponsored by Towergate Insurance, who also sponsor the Amateur Home Internationals and are the official insurance advisors for the EGU.

"We're delighted to have the backing of Towergate Insurance for this tournament," said PGA EuroPro Tour Operations Manager Dan Nickless.

"Maylands has traditionally been an excellent venue for the PGA EuroPro Tour and we're all looking forward to returning next month for this tournament."
