Trio Start Well At Wensum - 25/09/2007

DAMIAN MOONEY, Adam Frayne and Darren Charlton hold the early lead during the first round of the Wensum Valley International Open.

The trio all carded four-under-par opening rounds of 68 at the Norfolk course to edge ahead of the pack.

Welshman Mark Mouland, a double winner on the European Tour, is among four players to sit on three-under-par, alongside Ian Ellis, Neil Walker and Jack Doherty.

Eight players are sat on -2, with a further nine carding 71 for their opening round.
