Whitelock shoots 63 as cut looms - 15/08/2008

Ross Whitelock blitzed the Whittlebury Park course in the Ivobank PGA EuroPro Tour event to move into contention on the final day.

Whitelock (Staddon Heights) was six over ahead of his final round and needed something special to keep his tournament alive. He found just that with four birdies on both the front and back nine to with no dropped shots to card 63 for his second round and move to two under.

George Woolgar (Capitalservices.com) still leads the way at six under par, with five players tied in second spot at five under and three players two shots behind Woolgar at four under.

The final groups are beginning to come in and the cut is still touch and go - check the site in the next 30 minutes for an announcement on the final round.
