The EuroPro Tour moves on to the seventh stage this week.

After a week absence due to The Open, the Tour returns with an event at Wychwood Park in Crewe.

The venue has regularly held tournaments in the past and last year’s three-day competition was a thriller which Zane Scotland won on five-under.

He finished one shot ahead of James Busby, while Adam Frayne, Scott Arnold and James Heath were all on -3.

Scotland, Busby and Arnold are competing in this year’s tournament – the ABC Solutions UK Championship – as are some of the winners of previous events in 2011 including Jamie Abbott, Stuart Archibald and Paul Reed.

Dale Marmion was one of the golfers expecting a good week at Wychwood Park. He said: “The course is in great shape and I’m looking forward to the week ahead.”

More than 150 golfers will play a round on Wednesday and another on Thursday with the top 50 plus ties advancing to the final round on Friday where the overall champion will pocket £10,000.

All the action will be filmed and Matchroom Sport will produce a two-hour highlights show which will be broadcast on Sky Sports on Wednesday, August 3.
