THE PGA EuroPro Tour is to offer extra invitations to The Sweeneys Environmental Classic at Stonebridge GC next week.

The tournament will be staged from 23-25 August as the PGA EuroPro Tour makes its debut at the Forest of Arden course.

The PGA EuroPro Tour has extended its invitation allocation to give more players a chance to experience life on the world's leading developmental tour.

"We made this move for The GMS Classic at Mollington earlier this summer and it proved very popular with ambitious young players," said PGA EuroPro Tour Managing Director Eddie Hearn.

"We are giving players the chance to apply for a sponsors exemption to The Sweeneys Environmental Classic to test themselves alongside the top emerging golfers in Europe."

Invitations are open to professional players and amateurs with a handicap of two or better paying the standard entry fee.
